Legacy Parenting is designed for the parent that wants to have one place to store all aspects of your child's development with the intention of passing this down to your child. This is accomplished through a combination of 5 separate parts of the app: Timeline, Child Diary, Parent Diary, Family Tree and Parenting Roadmap.
For security purposes, only a parent can add information unless they specifically request others (Contributors) to be able to view material. For some parts of the app, privacy settings are available so children may not view information until a designated time in the future. This allows the parents to share thoughts today that can be read at a later specified time about any aspect of their child's development. Some of these messages may even be seen past the lifetime of the parents and offers a chance to give lifelong advice or comfort to the child.
Throughout the app, a Request for Feedback option is available. This unique feature offers a chance for the Parent to request commentary from a 3rd party (relative, coach, friend) etc. This is stored along with the memory or thought to give even more context or to connect others that play a critical role in the child's development.
When the account finally passes to the child, a much more complete picture of how they became the man or woman they are is now in focus. Rather than a static look at pictures or videos, Legacy Parenting provides a modern way to pass down history in an oral tradition style of storytelling.
